Terms and Conditions & Returns Policy

These Terms and Conditions tell you the rights and obligations you have. Please read these carefully. You may have other rights granted by law and these Terms and Conditions do not affect these. By ordering goods or services from Elementary Signs Ltd. you are agreeing to be bound by our Terms and Conditions which override and replace all other terms and conditions.

1) All products supplied by Elementary Signs Ltd remain the property of Elementary Signs Ltd until payment in full has been received. Title of goods does not pass until goods are paid for in full.

2) The Artwork, Designs and Layout, including any images, drawings, designs or logos, of any signs, Banners, Posters or Displays or any other items or design, built or designed or supplied by Elementary Signs Ltd or it's employees, remains protected by copyright. The copyright is the intellectual property of Elementary Signs Ltd and does not pass with the purchase of any Sign, Banner, display or any items designed or produced by Elementary Signs Ltd.

3) All versions of the Logo and tag line, all brochures, fliers, web sites and any other material, either printed or electronic are all protected under copyright and are all the property of Elementary Signs Ltd. These items may not be used without the prior written permission of Elementary Signs Ltd nor can they be passed to other or third parties for any reason without the written agreement of Elementary Signs.

4) All deliveries of signs or other products must be checked for damage or missing items at the time of delivery/receipt. Any damaged or missing items must be recorded when signing for the delivery and reported to Elementary Signs within 24hours. Please note that by just signing for a delivery without checking you will be accepting that the signs are received in good condition even if damage is found subsequently.

5) GOODS LOST/DAMAGED IN TRANSIT/OR SHORT DELIVERED

The Company must be notified of non-delivery of goods within a reasonable period after the discovery that they have not been delivered.
The Company will only consider replacing the goods lost or damaged in transit on the proviso that the Purchaser has acted in accordance with clause 4.

If goods are damaged in transit or short delivered, the Company must be notified within 24 hours of receiving the goods. If the Purchaser shall fail to give such notice within the specified period the goods shall be deemed to be in all respects in accordance with the contract and the Purchaser shall be deemed to have accepted the same and be bound to pay accordingly.
6) Return of Goods.
a) The company will not accept goods returned for credit unless previously agreed in writing by the Company.
b) Before consideration can be given to the acceptance of goods returned for credit the Purchaser must provide the date of original supply and the invoice number on which they were charged.
c) The Company reserves the right;  to refuse to accept any goods which are not in their original condition and are not fit for resale. Bespoke items will not be accepted for return.
d) The Company reserves the right; to make a re-stocking charge of not less than 20% of the sale price of the goods for accepting goods returned for credit to cover administration and other costs involved unless alternative arrangements have been previously agreed by the Company in writing.
e) If goods are returned for credit without any prior agreement in writing with the Company does not accept any responsibility for any damage caused to the goods or loss suffered while the goods are in the possession of the Company.
f) Bespoke items or items designed specifically for a customer which cannot be resold are not eligible for return unless previously agreed in writing.

7) It is rare that an installation has to be cancelled however there will be a charge of £250.00 + v.a.t. for each full day or £150.00 + v.a.t. for each half day when a pre-arranged installation is cancelled within three working days.

This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
